Grundolog is a measuring system for documenting and controlling the tensile loads affecting the new pipe during installation. These tensile loads are recorded at a measuring precision of 0,1 % from the nominal value. The light weight and the short structural shape allow simple assembly and easy handling. The measuring bodies are battery-driven. The system includes battery charger, cable and software. The connection to swivel and pipe puller is designed for the max. pulling force.
In the wireless version, in addition to being recorded, the data are transmitted online through the ground and displayed to the machine operator. With the GRUNDODRILL N, XP, XPT, 18ACS, and 28Nplus, the display appears directly on the machine screen, allowing for direct intervention in the retraction process.
